California’s new Clean Truck Check Program launched its online reporting system, the Clean Truck Check – Vehicle Inspection System (VIS). This system is live and fleets have reported their fleet and paid CARB fees in order to receive their compliance certificates.

Compliance certificates are current for now, but need to be renewed once your periodic inspections are due. All non-gasoline vehicles, GVWR 14,001+ lbs. operating in California are now required to provide periodic test inspections to CARB, by truck, to demonstrate no active ECU or MIL issues exist. Failure to do so will prevent California Truck Certification and DMV renewal.
